Spring & Fall Seasons
Step up to the plate with one of the largest and most established adult softball programs in San Diego County. The City of Carlsbad offers competitive and recreational opportunities for men’s, women’s, and coed teams across Carlsbad's premier fields, including:
- Calavera Hills Community Park
- Stagecoach Community Park
- Aviara Community Park
- Poinsettia Community Park
- Alga Norte Community Park
Whether your team is looking for recreational fun, intermediate competition, or high-level play, we have a division that fits your level.
League Format & Game Information
- Games are played Wednesday or Thursday nights
- Game times: 6:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., or 8:45 p.m.
- Teams play one night per week
- 8–10 regular season games
- Top four teams advance to the postseason playoffs
- Teams may be moved up or down divisions based on prior records and performance to ensure competitive balance
League Rules Overview
- Men’s League: Limited pitch (6–12 ft.)
- Coed League: Female batters limited pitch (6–12 ft.); male batters unlimited arc
- Complete team registrations only (no individual sign-ups)
- No field/location requests accepted
- Teams may select preferred night (Wednesday or Thursday)
Registration Information
Priority Registration
Priority registration is offered to teams that participated in the previous season.

- Priority registration lasts three days
If space remains after priority registration, registration opens to the public. You must contact our office for availability details.
Spots are limited. We do not hold spots. Register early.
Registration closes once leagues are full or staff begins schedule preparation.

Fees
- Team Fee: $510 (Spring & Fall)
- Umpire Fee: $30 per team, per game
- Payable in cash on-site to the umpire before each game
Important Policies
- Teams must submit a complete roster.
- Teams may be reclassified for competitive balance.
- Players participate at their own risk. The City does not provide insurance coverage.
